The ability to communicate effectively is paramount in many military operations. The Modular Integrated Communications Helmet (MICH) can be a lifesaver during intense combat situations. The United States Army Soldier Systems Center developed the MICH helmet two decades ago to be the next generation in military headgear. They've since gained widespread use by other service branches.
The MICH is a helmet that can stop handgun rounds and offer reliable protection against shrapnel and falling debris. The low-cut design provides better coverage for the side of the head than an above-the-ear (ATE) model. These helmets also feature a lip by the ear to accommodate headsets and other communications devices.

Made from DuPont™ Kevlar®. The Helmet offers significant weight savings, with the BTE® weighing in at 2.60 - 3.3 lbs. We offer this BTE helmet in a basic configuration for single purchases, but can offer shrouds, and other upgrades on bulk purchases.
