Ordering and Account Help

How do I get help with an order?

Use the HRTI contact page with your order number, product name, and the issue you need help with. Account and order history features use the stock Shopify customer account flow where available.

Can Detroit Less Lethal confirm a product is right for my setup before I order?

We can help review product fitment and compatibility information, but buyers should also confirm manufacturer instructions, product page details, and any applicable site or agency rules before ordering.

Shipping and Delivery

When will my order ship?

Shipping timing depends on product availability, order review, carrier service, and any handling needs listed on the product page. Check your order updates and contact support if something looks incorrect.

Do you offer local pickup or local support?

Local support details should be confirmed before placing an order. Detroit Less Lethal should not be treated as a walk-in office or pickup location unless a specific order workflow says so.

Compatibility and Product Fitment

Are all projectiles, magazines, tanks, and parts universally compatible?

No. Compatibility depends on the platform, caliber, air source, pressure requirements, manufacturer guidance, and product condition. Do not assume universal fitment across less-lethal platforms.

What should I include when asking about fitment?

Include the product URL, product name, platform or marker model, caliber, air source, and any relevant photos or screenshots. This helps support review the exact context.

Less-Lethal Language and Responsibility

Why does the site use less-lethal instead of non-lethal?

Less-lethal is more responsible wording because any force option can carry risk. Product content should not imply guaranteed safety, guaranteed stopping power, or harmless outcomes.

Who is responsible for legal compliance?

The customer is responsible for confirming legality, possession, use, storage, transportation, and policy compliance in their location or organization. Detroit Less Lethal does not provide legal advice.

Returns, Cancellations, and Special Orders

Can I return or cancel an order?

Return and cancellation eligibility depends on the order status, product type, condition, and store policy. Review the published policies and contact support before sending anything back.

Are custom or special-order items handled differently?

Custom, special-order, backordered, or procurement-request items may have different review, cancellation, or return handling. Use the temporary custom designs page before placing time-sensitive or specialized orders.

Government Sales, Wholesale, and Discounts

Where should agencies, departments, or organizations start?

Use the HRTI government sales page for quote requests, fitment review, larger-order planning, and procurement inquiries. Detroit Less Lethal does not claim government contracts, endorsements, or purchasing approval.

Do you have wholesale or MAP policy information?

Wholesale and MAP policy content must come from the carried-over HRTI source content before it is considered complete on this storefront. Use the HRTI wholesale application page for current inquiries.

How does the military and first responder discount work?

Eligible customers may verify through GovX ID. Eligibility, verification approval, offer availability, and exclusions are determined by GovX and may not apply to every product.

Site Feedback and Support

How do I report incorrect product information or a broken page?

Use the HRTI report-an-error page for incorrect product information, broken links, fitment concerns, typos, pricing display issues, or other site problems. Include the page URL and a short description.

How do I contact support?

Use the HRTI contact page for order support, product questions, compatibility review, shipping questions, availability, and general help.
