Nylon Mesh Webbing: The core of the RLS is made of Magpul's proprietary chafe-resistant 1 ¼" nylon mesh webbing. This tubular construction eliminates harsh edges that can cause discomfort or snag on clothing. The webbing is also NIR treated to reduce infrared signature.

High-Strength Polymer Hardware: The RLS features high-strength injection-molded polymer hardware that is reinforced for durability. The proprietary sling keeper design ensures there are no loose straps or tails, reducing snag hazards and distractions.

Versatile Design: The RLS can serve as both a retention device and a stabilized shooting aid. In a retention role, it securely keeps the rifle tucked behind the shoulder. When needed as a shooting aid, the adjustable forward loop grips the support arm, providing a steady shooting position and firmly planting the rifle butt against the shoulder.
