We use high-grade aluminum made to military standards. All LAPCO barrels are precision crafted. The bore size and barrel wall thinness are concentric and consistent. This eliminates the visible wavy lines that plague lower quality barrels. Next, Big Shots go through our 3 step micro-honing process. This creates the mirror inside finish that our competitors wish they could achieve. Bead blasted outside, for a micro-rough, non-reflective surface, and a deep penetration anodizing finish.
